Alessandro Brighetti was born in a family of doctors, from whom he absorbed the scientific methodology and approach. Not naturally inclined to the family profession, after an existence as messy as colorful, in 2008 he applied to the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Pain ting section. From here it moved to the third dimension.

Alessandro Brighetti was born in a family of doctors, from whom he absorbed the scientific methodology and approach. From here it moved to the third dimension.
Since 2014 he has focused on the relationship between man and the environment, a cultural heritage introjected from the teachings of his biologist mother. Excluding any scientific approach, more inclined by nature and training to the humanistic dimension, the artist develops his research using the lens of anthropology. Sculpture and installation are the media of choice, but in recent years video and sound have also been used to develop the topics of his research. The artist collaborated with various professionals to create his works, such as anthropologists, biologists and engineers: the manual dimension, anyway, is essential in the creation of his series.
